Desiree Keah-class Yacht

Overview

Situated halfway between extravagant craft like the Sans Souci and the basic Lord Baltimore Type Y yacht, the Desiree Keah is designed for the wealthy individual who desires to travel in sumptuous style, either on junkets or to privately entertain family and friends on extended vacations. The DK resembles a smaller sister of the Type M subsidized merchant, sharing the same dome-and-slab configuration. The ship's bridge is centrally located, freeing up the dome-as on many Type Ms-for passenger staterooms. The craft carries sufficient space for a 30 ton Ships Boat, whose hangar is linked to the cargo bay for both ease of loading and unloading, and for stowage of private vehicles. Two turret hardpoints are fitted for private customization. Though normally the craft does not carry scoops or fuel processing plants, the version detailed below is fitted with such equipment comparable for its needs. The DK is not very common in the Regency of Deneb due to attrition from age and the relatively small production allocated by the Ministry of Shipping to luxury craft, though she is quite common in adjacent sectors like Foreven and Beyond. Based upon the Adventure Ships 1 Design by J. Andrew Keith. Adapted from CT stats provided courtesy of Richard Perks.
